The Better Divot
Repair Tool!
Extensive research (and the general appearance and health of many golf course greens) have shown that most of the traditional divot repair tools that are manufactured with long teeth are inserted too deeply, and when moved around when repairing a ball mark can actually cause additional root damage, resulting in slow and incomplete healing. This same damage occurs when you use a LONG TEE to jab or PRY UP the green! Many golfers unintentionally do more damage than good. A properly repaired ball mark can heal in just 2-3 days. An unrepaired or incorrectly repaired ball mark will take up to 3 WEEKS to heal, and the result will be an uneven surface. A golf course with no ball marks being repaired would look like a battlefield within a day!
